Principals from Ghana’s 49 Public Colleges of Education, led by the leadership of the , have paid a courtesy call on the President of the Republic of Ghana,  to discuss critical issues affecting teacher education and institutional development.

The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between government and Colleges of Education as the country seeks to improve the quality of teacher preparation and educational outcomes.

Focus on Strengthening Teacher Education

During the engagement, the principals highlighted the important role Colleges of Education play in producing qualified and competent teachers for Ghana’s basic education system.
