The S.D.A. College of Education, Agona-Ashanti has announced vacancies for qualified professionals interested in joining the institution as teaching and non-teaching staff.

The recruitment exercise covers lecturer positions in selected academic disciplines as well as administrative and support roles.

Interested applicants have been advised to submit their applications before the deadline of Wednesday, 22nd July 2026.


Lecturer Positions Available at S.D.A. College of Education

The College is seeking qualified lecturers with relevant academic and professional backgrounds in the following areas:

Education

  • Guidance and Counselling

Languages

  • Ghanaian Language (Asante Twi)
  • English Language

Social Sciences

  • Geography

Applicants for lecturer positions are expected to possess a terminal degree (Ph.D.) and at least two years’ experience as a lecturer in a College of Education.

Applicants who did not undertake an Education programme are required to possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).

The College noted that candidates currently pursuing Ph.D. programmes may also be considered.

Non-Teaching Staff Vacancies at S.D.A. College of Education

Senior Administrative Assistant

Applicants should possess:

  • A good first degree
  • Competence in office administration and Microsoft Office applications

Senior Estate Management Assistant

Applicants should have:

  • A first degree in Estate Management or Land Economy
  • At least two years’ relevant experience

Senior Porter

Applicants should possess:

  • A good first degree
  • Relevant experience in portering, security, or accommodation management

Driver II

Applicants should have:

  • Valid Driving Licence D
  • BECE qualification
  • GCE/WASSCE qualification as an advantage
  • Experience in driving and vehicle maintenance
