Build Dompa Kindergarten Classroom, Office and Storeroom
In Dompa, phase one of the KG school was completed in December 2010. A land survey was conducted, pillars of cement planted and building plans drawn up. The building of two classrooms, an office and a storeroom is estimated to be $16,000 CDN.
Presently, kindergarten classes are conducted outside under the hot sun or in an overcrowded classroom. Construction is expected to begin in July and August of 2011.
Construction of Pit Latrines in Dompa
The primary school grounds in Dompa are currently lacking toilets and there is an urgent need for proper sanitation. In December 2010, architectural plans were drawn up for 6 girls and 6 boys toilets to be constructed of cement. Construction is expected to begin following the completion of the School classroom.
