On July 27th, 2011 CEIG Inc. began construction of the kindergarten school in Dompa. The whole village attended breaking of ground and oversaw the pouring of libations. The construction is only made possible with the townspeople volunteering their time and intense manpower under steep terrain and the heat of the sun. From digging 3 feet deep into rock, carrying loads of sand and water up and down the mountain on our heads, to mixing bags upon bags of concrete in Dompa, this project is under way. The people of Dompa have been extremely grateful and are excited to greet the student volunteers August 11!
Where does my money go?
To buying building materials used by community volunteers to build and maintain primary schools in the Bosomtwe District, Ghana. Help us see these students reach their true potential!
